Type and model of filter press

Filter press is a kind of mechanical equipment that uses a special filter medium to exert a certain pressure on the object to make the liquid percolate out. It is a common solid-liquid separation equipment. It is widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, dye, food, brewing, ceramics and environmental protection industries. According to the different needs of different industries, there are also many types and models of filter presses:

1. In terms of filtering area: the filtering area of Jiuding filter press is 0.5 square meters to 1500 square meters.

2. According to the style: plate and frame type, diaphragm pressing type, van type, etc.

Plate and frame filter press: a group of filter chambers are formed by alternately arranged filter plates and filter frames. There are grooves on the surface of the filter plate, and the protruding part is used to support the filter cloth. There are through holes on the corners of the filter frame and filter plate, which form a complete channel after assembly, and can lead into suspension, washing water and filtrate. There are handles on both sides of the plate and frame, which are supported on the beam, and the plate and frame are pressed by the pressing device. The filter cloth between the plate and the frame acts as a sealing gasket. The suspension hydraulic pressure is fed into the filter chamber by the feed pump, and the filter residue is formed on the filter cloth until the filter chamber is filled. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth and flows along the filter plate groove to the corner channel of the plate frame for centralized discharge. After filtration, wash the filter residue with cleaning water. After washing, sometimes compressed air is introduced to remove the remaining washing liquid. Then open the filter press to remove the filter residue, clean the filter cloth, re compress the plate and frame, and start the next working cycle.

Diaphragm filter press: the development track is mainly to improve the solid content and washing effect of the filter cake inside the equipment. The filtration principle of the diaphragm filter press is that the filter cake layer is formed on the surface of the filter cloth, and the material can be filtered. Its working principle is to let water pass through and pass the liquid to be filtered through its filter cloth. What is left on the filter cloth is the liquid separated from the waste residue, which is needed.

Box filter press: its structure and working principle are similar to that of plate and frame filter press. The difference is that the two sides of the filter plate are recessed. Each two filter plates are combined into a box filter chamber, eliminating the filter frame, and there is a round hole in the center of the filter plate. The suspension thus flows into each filter chamber. This filter is suitable for suspension that needs to be filtered under high pressure and the filter residue does not need washing.

3. By material: cast iron, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, ceramics, cast steel, rubber and reinforced polypropylene (plastic), etc.
